Insurance
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

  • Covers: Collision damage to the car's body up to $35,000 per incident, after you pay a $1,000 deductible.
  • Excludes: Mechanical issues caused by misuse, theft, vandalism, single car accidents. Not comprehensive insurance.

Liability Coverage (RCLI)

  • Covers: Minimum state-required liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage.
  • Why It Matters: Protects you financially if you cause an accident involving others.
  • State-Specific Limits: Coverage amounts vary by state (see below). You'll also find the details during checkout and in the rental agreement you sign when you get your Bonzah.
  • Legal Requirement: Liability coverage is mandatory for driving in your state.

Supplemental Liability Coverage (SLI)

  • Extra Protection: Provides additional liability coverage for you and authorized drivers, covering third-party claims for bodily injury and property damage.
  • Coverage Details: Extends beyond basic liability coverage up to $300,000 total, with a $75,000 limit per person for bodily injury and $10,000 for property damage.
  • Coordination with Other Insurance: Primary insurance will be used first. SLI kicks in for excess coverage.
  • Not a Replacement: SLI doesn't replace basic liability coverage; it supplements it for greater protection.
  • Recommendation: Consider adding SLI to your RCLI for more complete protection.

Personal Accident / Personal Effects Coverage (PAI/PEI)

  • What's Covered: Limited medical insurance for the renter and their family in the event of an accident. There is also coverage for the belongings of the renter and their family.
  • What's Not Covered: electronics, clothing, baggage.
Our Coverage Options:
  • Before Your Trip: Select your insurance options during the booking process for a seamless experience.
  • Extend Early: Always extend your insurance before the existing policy lapses (ending). Claims after will be denied.
  • If You Have a Change of Plans: Always make policy changes and cancellations prior to the insurance deadline.
